Join us in our easily accessible, Northfield, MN location - just minutes from the metro area.   This position will have technical leadership responsibility for the support of products within the Display Products Materials business unit from prototype through proof of production capability.     Representative Job duties include:  Member of cross-functional product/process development team.  Initiate product FMEA and control plans. Create and maintain Item Masters, Bills of Materials, and Routings. Assemble and submit First Article/ PPAP packages. Implement Variation Reduction Initiatives (VRI) with ownership of product Cpk. Serve as the technical interface between the business unit and production to drive responsiveness and continuous improvement. Perform product extension activities to modify a current product. Implement and manage product cost reduction efforts. Manage new supplier qualification. Manage New Product Introduction Programs. Implement and manage material loss reduction efforts. Coordinate customer visits. Serve as point of contact for customer corrective action requests on existing products. Coordinate appropriate CAR activities and complete 8D process. Perform related duties as necessary.   Job Requirements 4-year technical degree Experience in a manufacturing environment Self starter Customer support Strong written and verbal skills Quality Assurance o  Data analysis o  Problem solving o  Root cause analysis o  Use of DE o  CCAR Open to international travel Understanding of international quality and environmental standards Flexible Exhibit leadership skills.
