Product Assurance Engineer - Req. 3799
Primary job responsibilities will be Program and Product Quality engineering support. Generation and oversight of Quality Program Plans for hybrid manufacturing programs, which include hybrids for space, military, medical and solid state relay production. Good people skills are a must. Requires ability to interpret customer requirements and support the conversion process of flow-down to engineering and manufacturing practices. Requires the ability to provide technical support to Jr. Engineers. Good technical writing skills required for support of AS/ISO documentation and maintenance of the Facility Government Certification and Qualifications Program. Will be responsible for the interface with specific customers for those job assigned and AS/ISO auditing functions. Must be well versed in computer usage. Computer skills required are Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project), e-mail and use of internal Engineering Document Control systems (for electronic drawing and procedure review). Bachelors Degree in engineering or business. Equivalent years of experience will be considered. 10 years minimum experience in aerospace electronic component manufacturing. Highly desirable is experience directly related to microelectronic hybrid manufacturing. Working knowledge of Quality Management System requirements of SAE AS9100, ISO 9001:2000 and SO 13485:2003. Experience in customer interface, specification reviews and program contract compliance is mandatory. Working knowledge of MIL-PRF-38534, General Specification for Hybrid Microelectronic, MIL-STD-883 Test Methods and Procedures for Microelectronics, MIL-PRF-28750, General Specification for Solid State Relays, and IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies. Highly desirable is a working knowledge of “Cellular Manufacturing” and Lean manufacturing concepts. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Secret Clearance required.
