Job Summary
Overseeing and managing the entire manufacturing process from BAC drawings (Boeing specifications) to shipment of parts. Insuring the highest quality of work. Communicating efficiently with management and sales office about the monthly goals of the machine shop.
Primary responsibilities Develop action plans and time lines for parts and assembly manufacturing from concept to shipment.
 Oversee the entire manufacturing process.
 Understand the technical basis of Boeing specifications (BAC).
 Understand the process of steel, alloy steel, corrosion resistant steel and aluminum steel plating (nickel cadmium plating, chrome plating, cadmium plating and nitrite plating).
 Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece.
 Manage all aspects of PMA programs.
 Implement LEAN practices to improve all aspects of manufacturing and repair work.
 Develop quote packages for new and repeat business.
 Purchase materials, parts and services from vendors.

Minimum Job Requirement Chemical engineering/Process engineering diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of different heat and corrosion treatment for Boeing specifications (BAC). Knowledge of chemical and physical material composition. Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices. Experience dealing directly with FAA.
