Principal Technical Support Engineer

Description:Summary: This individual will be an active member of a the Headquarters Support Operations Team. The individual will be responsible for representing the interest of the SSGN/FBM field sites to the engineering development teams and program office. In addition, the individual will be responsible for interfacing with field sites and engineering to resolve issues, provide program coordination and support special studies and analysis as required.Responsibilities:Specifically, this person will provide support in the day-to-day activities of the SSGn/FBM Field Sites. These activities include:- Participation in multi-functional problem resolution teams- Development and implementation of work around plans.- Provide technical planning.- Status reporting of problem resolution and site activities- Support various Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities, Customer Meetings, Program Management Meetings.- Manage and track open issues and site action items.SecretQualifications:This opportunity requires a Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years applicable work experience or a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years related work experience. Related work experience includes previous Fire Control Technician experience, or the installation and testing of computer equipment.
