Principal Software Engineer - Remedy/AS3 - PI6528-10Synopsis of the Program The Air & Space Operations Center Weapons System Integrator (AOC WSI) program provides a smooth migration from the 40+ current AOC subsystems into a unified system. The system will be integrated, tested and managed at two sites ( Colorado Springs, CO and Hampton, VA), and deployed at various customer sites around the world. Job Description Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System Integrator (WSI) Engineer for AS3 development -Works for AS3 Development Lead to manage, develop, integrated, and support delivery of AS3 to the AOC WS. AS3 is an application in the AOC WS infrastructure that implements a trouble ticket generation and coordination system from the operational sites with the AOC Help Desk. -This position is a software development position for a system for which the WSI has responsibility. -Candidate must be willing to travel to Langley AFB for up to 2 weeks at a time at 3-4 month intervals for integration and test support. Required Skills: -Experience with the Remedy product line (on which AS3 is built) is REQUIRED. Desired Skills: -Broader experience that would allow candidate to contribute to other areas of the program (e.g., Microsoft certification, database, virtualization, firewall) to contribute to other areas of the program as time permits, is a discriminator. -Experience with Information Assurance and/or DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) is DESIRED.
