Lead team of designers, engineers and analysts developing spacecraft antenna designs. Follow suppliers from hardware order through delivery and testing of flight equipment. Perform cost and schedule planning for the project and assess progress made against these plans using Orbital Cost Account Management tools. Supervise spacecraft mechanical integration activities & write assembly and test procedures. Perform general mechanical analyses. Required Qualifications:Minimum BSME/AE. 7-9 years of spacecraft antenna design experience required.Experience with the fundamentals of spacecraft antenna design and performance. Familiarity with finite element methods and thermal analysis. Experience with composite structure design, analysis, fabrication and testing. Familiarity with Pro-Engineer CAD software. Experience with Optical Alignments & Vibration Testing. Also cost and schedule project management.
