Principal Industrial Security Specialist - Missile Defense Center - Woburn, MA Job Description: Raytheon IDS Operations is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to work as a member of the IDS Security Team. The position will be based out of the Missile Defense Center in Woburn, MA and report directly to the Center Security Manager. Primary responsibilities include providing classified information systems security support and performing self-inspections to ensure NISPOM and System Security Plan compliance. The candidate will also work with program personnel, system administrators, and Information Systems Security Officers to facilitate the development and implementation of System Security Plans IAW the NISPOM and Customer requirements. The position requires interaction with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations. Additionally, the candidate will prepare documentation, including Information Security Plans, outlining regulations and establishing information security policy. Moreover, the candidate will perform investigations pertaining to information systems security violations and prepare reports specifying corrective actions and preventative measures. Ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, technical knowledge (as described below), great customer service skills, and an ability to handle complex situations. Candidates must be able to excel in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task. Basic Qualifications: -4+ years work related experience. -Working knowledge of NISPOM requirements. -In-depth knowledge of audit compliance requirements. -In-depth knowledge of systems hardware, operating system software (i.e. Windows, Linux and other Unix-based systems) and network data communications with emphasis on information security. -Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). -Ability to perform investigations, interviews and develop reports for incident handling and response. -Existing Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance -BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Administration or Information Systems Technology or similar degree curriculum Desired Qualifications: -Experience working with U.S. Defense Contractors or a supporting U.S. Government Agency -Ability to negotiate with tact and skill -Information Security Certification (i.e. CISSP, CISM, GIAC) -Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision and must be a team player with strong organizational and time management skills. -Must be detail oriented. -Demonstrated problem solving skills.
