Principal Engineer-Electrical
Description:Support of digital design and VHDL development activities for devices to be utilized in communications systems and signals intelligence assets for military and government systems. Design and development responsibilities include all phases of device design. Tasks to include concept development, requirements generation, verification plan, chip architecture, VHDL design, simulation, timing analysis, and synthesis.. Other tasks include monitoring and providing support for the integration and testing of devices within higher level assembly applications. Candidate must be able to effectively and efficiently work with other team members to include other designers, systems engineers, software engineers, project managers, and customers.Understanding of communication systems concepts including IP based systems and network protocols is highly desired, but not required.
