Plans & Mission Integration Support Officer - Training
Description:THIS POSITION IS LOCATED in ASHBURN VA Serves in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A), Mission Integration (MI), Plans and Mission Integration Division (PI) as a Plans and Mission Integration Intelligence Support Officer responsible for developing, preparing, formulating, intelligence training policies, procedures, and guidance to support DHS' mission to detect, deter, prevent, preempt, or respond to threats (foreign, domestic, natural, or man-made) against the homeland. The incumbent is required to possess knowledge of:(1) the substantive nature of agency programs and activities; (2) agency missions, policies, and objectives; (3) management principles and processes; (4) practical (but less than full professional) knowledge of education and training;(5) ability to apply the principles and techniques of education to assist students acquire specific skill or knowledge; (6) practical knowledge of instruction techniques (normally acquired by on-the-job training combined with study and practice); (7) demonstrating proper techniques and methods of the work and evaluation of the trainees' progress under a formal training program designed to update, extend, or improve employee's skills; (8) on-the-job, classroom, computer, and/or VTC training as part of a formal program; (9) foundation knowledge required for adjustment to future technological changes; (10) characteristics of materials; (11) preparation of design of course outlines and training aids; (12) revision of lesson plans; (13) development and administering of quizzes; (14) evaluation of trainees' progress;(15) counsel students and resolve informal complaints and minor disciplinary problem (16) oral and written communications; (17) the development of presentations and reports (i.e., working papers, point papers, talking papers, briefings, surveys (which include narrative, tabular and/or graphic materials).TS/SCIQualifications:Minimum 9 years experience with a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.The incumbent must possess hands-on operational experience in: discipline specific requirement; all source; and component liaison.Candidates must possess: (1) a current, active, and transferable Periodic Review; (2) a current, final top secret clearance; (3) able to obtain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)adjudication.THIS POSITION IS LOCATED in ASHBURN VASalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceJob Location: Washington, DCJob Number: 19605BRCompany URL: www.gd-ais.com Company Profile:General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems is one of the most visionary companies in the world.
