Broomfield, COJob #582606 What You´ll Do  This position will include antenna element and antenna-related component design, prototyping and testing of hardware on programs in the phased array antenna area.  A desire to design, build and test in a hands-on environment is needed.   Under general supervision of a senior-level RF engineer, this person will design, fabrication, measure antennas and antenna-related RF components.   This person must also be able to document designs, write potentially write reports and/or test procedures.  As a team member, this person will contribute to completion of milestones within specific projects and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems. In addition, this position requires preparing and giving presentations to peers/management/customers.  This position may include new business support in the form of proposal writing and/or cost/schedule estimation.What You´ll Need  BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred, plus 5 or more years experience.  Good oral and written communication skills.   Interface with technicians, peers, senior-level engineers, business development, management.  Contribute to success of small teams through excellent teamwork. This person must also be able to document designs, write potentially write reports and/or test procedures.  Experience with electromagnetic modeling capabilities is highly desired.  In addition to the typical educational and experience requirements, a demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities of the position and exhibit the skills and competencies of the grade level should be considered.  Each higher level degree, Masters, etc., may substitute for two years of experience.
