Payload Integration CoFR Focal

Responsibilities Coordinate CoFR certifications and products (i.e., OWTL and endorsements) from ISS payload organizations for each ISS flight Develop CoFR letters for each flight with necessary endorsements and review schedules. Prepare and deliver OWTL and endorsement status reports with coordinated closure plans for each of the NASA ISS Payloads Office CoFR review meetings and the ISS SORR Executive Review meetings Maintain, produce, and manage updates to Payload Certificate of Flight Readiness Implementation Plan Perform as the IPI Topology focal coordinating and developing topology inputs to the IDRD, Annex 5 based on integrated mission design and complement assessments Evaluates CEFs for topology impacts and incorporate changes as required Provides coordination to the ISS Payload Topology Forum (PTF) to evaluate proposed topology changes in the Lab, JEM and Columbus Provides technical expertise to ISS and Payloads Office boards, panels and working groups Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards. Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs Ensures regulatory requirements are met Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability Provides configuration management, coordinates changes, performs assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs Represents company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs Works under general direction. Qualifications Must have US Citizenship Associates Degree or equivalent science degree preferred Previous experience with the ISS and/or payloads requirements development required Experience in CoFR Documentation and associated requirements highly required Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook mandatory Strong ability to effectively coordinate and communicate information between group members and interact with customers at all levels Very effective in a dynamic environment in order to meet product delivery deadlines and operate within strict procedural guidelines Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Self-motivated individual with excellent attitude and enthusiasm Other duties as requiredApply here
