PRODUCT MANAGER, CONSUMABLES

Job responsibilities are defined to encompass leadership for Product Management from initial concepts through the product’s life cycle. Duties include product planning, product modifications and product rationalization, and the timely management of new product introductions. Responsible for cost analysis, pricing structures and product margin. Define market trends, product innovations and develop strategies for product marketing from customer feedback, sales staff and engineering input, and evaluation of competitive products. Analyze customer sales, market trends and competitive activities in order to provide effective forecasting and planning. Develop annual business plan and longer-term strategic product/market plans. Job Requirements: Previous marketing experience with industrial consumables in a variety of industry segments such as motor vehicles, aerospace, white goods, shipbuilding, electrical and electronic, etc.  Demonstrated ability to develop and implement recommendations for advertising, promotions, product literature and packaging. Evaluate distribution channels with focus on worldwide market penetration and "time-to-market metrics." Develop methods for increased global presence and resources optimization.
