PM with military/medical experience
This position is located in our MD, Silver Spring facilityProvide project management support to support to a support a large military health program. The duties include documentation review, schedule development, quality control, standards, personnel supervision, development/integration contractor oversight, and other activities to ensure success for the projects. Provide, at a minimum, the following support: establish standards for procedures, provide Subject Matter expertise, develop and apply organization-wide documentation models. Construct sound, logical business improvement opportunities to support best business practices and recommend cost saving strategies. Conduct analyses and make recommendations concerning the management of all informational Releases, support project integration and migration activities, and provide targeted business analyses with a cost reduction/quality improvement focus. Coordinate the provision of program management and operational oversight support with other contractors as required in support of project activities. Facilitate and participate in mission objectives. Research and incorporate findings from existing DoD, MHS, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), and/or service provider policies, procedures and practices to ensure the successful design, development, testing, evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of project activities and acquisition documents. Plan, prepare and coordinate (directly and/or indirectly) the documents necessary to support system follow-on release activities intended to enhance current functionality. Monitor activities at regular intervals. Support the Risk Management and Quality Improvement programs. Conduct risk analyses, assessments, and manage mitigation strategies to reduce risk. Provide project-level Work Group support, to include, meeting preparation, presentation preparation, facilitation, minutes, functional research and other activities.
