PATRIOT Field Ops Analyst

Job description: As a PATRIOT Field Operations Logistics Analyst, you will support the IDS PATRIOT Field Operations Manager by providing coordination and support in tracking of PATRIOT Battery Replaceable Units in the repair cycle. Responsibilities will include: -Track and report on status of parts in the repair cycle. -Brief the Field Operations Manager on the status, schedule and corrective action of items in the repair process. -Assist with the maintenance of the PATRIOT Repair & Return (R&R) database. -Ensure the data entered in the database is kept current, providing ad hoc reports to management as directed. -Make recommendations for the expedition of spares to the field (US and abroad) to keep the equipment operational. -Extract, analyze and present field data for monthly and ad hoc reports. -Provide technical support, liaison and coordination with the customer and various OEMs on repair status. -Travel within US to attend quarterly conferences may be required. Required Skills: To be successful in this position, the following skills and experience are required: -Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings. -Be well-versed with the hardware and maintenance of the PATRIOT System. - Possess e xcellent communication skills -Ability to coordinate activities with and respond to inquiries from the customer, subcontractors and engineering. -Able to read and understand Engineering Drawings, Modified Work Orders and PATRIOT technical manuals. -Ability to understand the impact of ECPs fielded hardware -Knowledge of the US Army supply system -Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - A self-starter, able to work independently with little guidance and oversight. -At least 2 years related experience. Desired skills -PATRIOT Operation and Maintenance experience -Experience with ARMS R&R Database -Ability to travel outside US Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Engineering, Management or related field. 10 years experience with PATRIOT or other Military defense system can substitute for education.
