Optics Manufacturing Engineer / Manager

TECHNOLOGY: Optics for Electro-Optic Imaging and Sensor Systems GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Develop optics and optical products for military programs.   SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Work on projects from inception to completion, including (a) assisting the development of technology and product concepts, (b) assisting the development of proposals and new business, (c) assisting the development of designs and prototype products, (d) leading efforts in the transition of designs to manufacturing, (e) leading efforts in the development of manufacturing processes, and (f) leading product manufacturing activities.* Play a primary role to develop products to meet customer specifications.* Play a primary role to manufacture products which satisfy customer need.  REQUIREMENTS:1) BS degree in engineering or physics.2) US Citizen with current or recently expired security clearance.3) 7+ years relevant work experience.4) Strong experience designing optical products in the electro-optics community.5) Strong experience with military product development programs.6) Strong experience with (a) technology/proposal development, (b) prototype development, and (c)  product development.7) Strong experience with product manufacturing or manufacturability development.-----------------------------------------Please Respond with a Resume to: nlasky@mri-rtp.com MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
