Description: A lead team member in the development of advanced airborne reconnaissance systems.
Skills and experience:
* Experienced in complex optical designs both visible and IR.
* Refractive and reflective imaging systems from initial concept development through manufacture and test
* Familiar working with outside optical manufacturers
* Able to perform detailed tolerance analysis
* Experience using CodeV, Zemax,
* Familiar with optical manufacturing sensitivities ‘Hands on experience in precision alignment of optical assemblies
* Familiar with well structured systems design/development process
* Strong presentation skills
* Strong personal discipline, verbal & written communication, documentation skills.
* Willing to travel in the U.S. 10% to 15% of the time.
Qualifications:
* Optical Engineering degree is required (MSc or PhD preferred)
* Experience in relevant industries
> 10 years,with MSc, 5 years with PhD
* US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance required
