Operations Research / Strategic Planning AnalystSimi Valley, CAJOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for operations research, strategic planning and concept of operations (CONOPS) development needed to demonstrate the value of AV products to both DoD and non-DoD customers.Analyze customer requirements from an operational perspective and evaluate AV product ability to meet those requirements.Develop long term goals and strategic objectives including measurement capabilities to generate estimates of system operational effectiveness and long term value proposition for AV customers. Implement the capability to develop and conduct effective design for operational effectiveness tradeoffs in the design, manufacturing, and fielding of UAS products.Identifies, analyzes and communicates the value proposition of AV products to the other members of the AV Business Development team, AV management and ultimately to AV customers.Travels regularly to communicate with customers.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:A working understanding and experience with military and DoD operational requirements.Extensive operational experience in one or more of the military services.Understands military strategy, tactics and operations.Experience with UAV operations highly desirable.10 + years experience with military operations analysis, modeling, developing operational metrics, and program management in the aerospace industry.Simi Valley is the primary location of the job.This position requires you have access to data and technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
