Operations Research Modeling Simulation And Analysis

Member of a highly integrated team performing software upgrades and modifications to an air-to-air/air-to-ground combat simulation. Work will be in a structured environment aligned with the SEI CMMI software development processes. Perform software design, coding, unit test, and system test for simulation and collaborative engineering tools supporting a systems testbed. Includes development of system and subsystem design descriptions (requirements, design, and operations). Conduct peer reviews at appropriate stages of development. Work closely with specialists translating new requirements in simulation functionality. Required Skills: C++ object oriented programming and debugging on Linux and Windows based platforms. Must have the ability to operate in a structured software development environment including programming and debugging, source code version control, and detailed regression testing. Must be able to capture requirements and translate them into an acceptable design package, develop that appropriate algorithms and implement them into the software. Must have strong math and physics skill set and be able to apply it to the modeling of various systems. Follows the development process and clearly communicates with customers and management. Works well in a team environment. Desired Skills: Familiarity with HLA based network centric applications a plus. Databases, graphics, web tools, UNIX operating system, Windows, Microsoft Office also desirable.
