We currently have a position available for a Operations Lead in Wichita, KS.

 

Description:

 

·  To repair, rework or modify electrical wiring assemblies to applicable specifications. To provide support / OJT to direct change incorporation personnel and to assist supervisor with work flow to ensure schedule compliance.  Provide direction and supervision to technician team.

 

Responsibilities:

 Read / interpret and understand technical drawingsRead / interpret and understand applicable manufacturing and quality specificationsRepair, re-work, and modify wiring harnesses to said specifications while ensuring compliance with all Labinal internal policies and proceduresProvide OJT for direct manufacturing personnel with respect to interpretation of customer specifications, quality procedures and manufacturing work instructionsLead responsibilitiesAct in a customer interface role when requiredAssign task to a small crew of technicians to support compliance with schedulesInsure accurate record keeping of work performed and hours worked by crewKeep management informed of crew activity and any performance issuesDemonstrate sound decision making process in managing workflow

 

Requirements:

 

·  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

·  Aircraft maintenance experience a plus, in particular avionics experience

·  Position may require travel and alternative work schedules

·  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

·  Must obtain certification by the internal training department for each assembly process performed on the programAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

 Kit incorporation of bundles at partner sites with the following duties

o Reads instructions such as work orders, diagrams, form boards and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.Rework connectors, back shells, wires terminations, splices, split rings, lugs and any other component built in a bundleWrap and tie wiresRoute wiresTest

 Additional rework responsibility may include support to WHI technical Engineer byParticipating in the analysis of the installation issuesProposing Immediate Response DispositionRepresenting Labinal inside Installation site at 787 Partners, answering technical questionsProviding technical assistance to the partner to assure rapid resolution and support schedules
