This position is located in our VA, Charlottesville facilityDuties: Must have a DOD TS/SCI clearance and will provide Tier 1 system administration and hardware diagnostics of desktop systems connected to local and wide area networks. System management responsibilities involves all aspects of user support services to include hardware deployment, account monitoring, security, operating system installation, information assurance, COMSEC, VTC and telecommunication services. Windows System Administration, Server 2003 experience desired. Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows XP clients in Active Directory environment. Knowledgeable use of system support tools such as SMS and WSUS desirable. Perform software/hardware integration, site surveys, make technical recommendation on hardware/software configuration, conduct implementation of project plan and documentation functions. Good communication and customer service skills a must.Requires High School diploma or equivalent.Requires 3-5 years experience.Industry certification required and prefer A+, Network+ or MCP.
