This is a Temp to Perm opportunity..

Collaborate, advice, and participate with other Infrastructure Support Engineers, IT personnel and management on projects and implementations relevant to company engineering environments for classified and unclassified systems, their functionality, and integrity.  Work independently to install and configure servers and workstations running Linux and UNIX.  Troubleshoot and resolve software application, script, operating system, and hardware issues.  Define and implement backup strategies.  Perform restores and disaster recovery.  Perform daily support tasks for backups, performance tuning and monitoring of hardware and software.  Perform software application installations.  Maintain UNIX and Linux system storage and implement security and other recommended patches.

Experience:  3 years hands on Linux(RedHat) / UNIX (Solaris) Systems Administration experience in a secure network environment supporting various software packages (including Symantec (Veritas) Netbackup, BakBone Natvault, Hummingbird Exceed, Net App v6.5).  3 years of UNIX shell scripting (csh, sh, bash, perl, tcl/tk) experience.  2 years of hands-on engineering tools administration experience.
