.Net Developer

US Citizenship required.The Software Engineer/.NET Developer will be designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining applications to meet the Air National Guard requirements using Microsoft's .Net 1.1, 2.0, & 3.x, ASP, & SQL Server 2000 & 2k5 as the DBMS. They also will be utilizing a streamlined Agile methodology within an MSF (Microsoft Solution Framework) with team foundation server support. The Software Engineer/.NET Developer will need to understand a range of applications and how to transfer the customer?s needs into real and robust applications. Applications developed include enterprise applications, management and enterprise information applications, and Enterprise Resource Planning (E.R.P.) systems in the DOD environment. The customer requirements must be gathered and understood, the engineer will be responsible for assisting in testing by writing test cases and working with the QA team to assist them in the testing process. The engineer will also be responsible for developing the applications in the most effective way. When developing applications, the developer must gain a thorough understanding of the processes and constraints. Knowledge of the human computer interaction (HCI) is also part of this role. Examples of applications are: scheduling applications, Financial Management Systems, Training systems, metrics gathering, and potential application portal migration to a Sharepoint Portal Server.QualificationsThis position requires a Bachelors degree and 2 years of related experience.Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. .NET experience required.Experience writing SQL queries.Exposure to enterprise class system is desired.
