Mold Maker
Job Purpose:Supports production by building and repairing plastic injection molds.Duties:* Plans mold by reading blueprints, instructions, and sketches, or studying actual part.* Sets-up equipment by studying mold requirements, materials, tolerances, and machine capabilities.* Prepares mold by operating, monitoring, and adjusting equipment; using hand tools.* Verifies quality by measuring results using precision instruments.* Contributes to product design by providing technical capabilities of equipment; offering solutions.* Maintains safe work environment by following standards and procedures.* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.* Accomplishes production and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Skills/Qualifications:7 Yrs. Min.
