Modeling & Simulation Analyst
Description:1. As member of the Modeling and Simulation Intelligence Team, responsible for setup, operation, testing, and database development of the TACSIM, NWARS-NG and CSP Intelligence simulations for exercise events and event testing, as assigned.2. Have the ability to research emerging Intelligence simulation capabilities for potential use at the Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC) and advice exercise Intelligence planners regarding the appropriate use of the various Intelligence simulations in federated and non-federated exercise environments.3. Be responsible for working scheduled events (shift work will be required during exercise support periods). Assist in supporting and advising senior M&S Branch management when staff Intel augmentation is required for specific events. 4. Make recommendations to the Intel team leader on training requirements, schedules, and exercise staffing.TS/SCIQualifications:1. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:a. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a computer related technical field.ORb. Three years of experience in a technical computer field, in addition to the specific and related experience under part 2 below, may be substituted for the specific computer related degree requirement.2. Minimum of 5 years specific and related experience inclusive of the following:a. Extensive experience in the field of military operations.b. Working experience in the preparation and operation of modeling and simulation systems such as TACSIM, NWARS-NG, ACE-CSI and related model and simulation systems.c. End use knowledge and experience with MS Office products and/or similar products for the LINUX environment.d. Demonstrated technical aptitude for computer hardware and software. Comfortable troubleshooting computer related issues. Experience installing/loading software products.3.
