The candidate will perform architecture and mission analysis to determine the most cost effective family-of-systems to meet mission area needs for the Space Control mission area. Analysis will be performed for Offensive Counter Space (OCS), Defensive Counter Space (DCS), and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and may include related Command and Control (C2) tasks. Candidate will support analysis and tool development to analytically assess FoS performance utilizing Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), Measures of Performance (MOPs), and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs) to measure how well a given FoS meets those needs, build modeling and simulation tools to analytically assess FoS performance, perform analysis of results to identify capabilities and shortfalls, and analyze/recommend options to fill shortfalls. Candidate will support concept development team in evaluating new system concepts to fill shortfalls and justify future system costs based on analytical models supporting the TPMs. Candidate will be required to document analysis methodology and present results as required to senior management and customers. Ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of analysts with wide range of expertise, possess a range of skill sets, from designing algorithms and coding computer simulations to interfacing with customer and presenting results.This position is located in the Redondo Beach, CA area with monthly to quarterly travel to Colorado Springs. - Bachelors in engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer science- Eleven years experience in system, mission, or architecture analysis, including building associated computer models and using them to perform analysis- Experience working on and supporting team efforts- Matlab or other programming experience- Strong writing and verbal skills.To learn more about SRA International, go to www.sra.com.SRA International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
