 We are looking for an individual that will be responsible for policy development, direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates:Analyzes wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan.Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs. Directly recruits all Salaried Employees for two divisions.  Supervises the recruitment of direct labor and hourly employees through recruitment sources for two divisions.Writes directives advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.Represents management in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, grievances and arbitrations.Writes and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding human resources policies and practices.Create department annual budget.Maintains department compliance programs such as TS16949, ISO9001, Affirmative Action requirements, EEOC reporting, OSHAMember of Safety Committee

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent; or six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  PHR a plus.

 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:  To perform the job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer software.  Payroll / HRIS systems such as ABRA, ADP or CERIDIAN required.  Experience with J D Edwards a plus. Proficient typing skills required.
