One Fuel Pump / Fuel System engineer - For Blackswift development program.
The general job description for these positions is below:
The successful candidate will perform a variety of technical and project-related tasks in support of engine mechanical control and externals components requirements definition and hardware design, development and integration. Engine mechanical control components include valves, actuators, and fuel pumps. Externals include gimbals, plumbing, burst disks, vents, brackets, struts, etc…
Specific tasks include:
- Perform trade studies to support the requirements definition and optimization of components.
- Generate, document, maintain and evaluate requirements and specifications for the components.
- Generate and update requirements documents consistent with engine configuration evolution.
- Serve as the interface for component integration within the propulsion system and the primary focal point with internal
and external customers.
- Coordinate and resolve all component-related issues with various Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure that
program objectives are met.
- Coordinate component supplier activities to ensure successful performance to program requirements.
Education BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience/Qualifications Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in mechanical and/or externals components requirements definition and hardware design, development, and integration.
Position also requires strong communication, planning, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
