Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Designer
Voss Scientific, a 20 year old high tech R& D firm located in Albuquerque, NM has immediate openings at all degree levels for the following long term career positions for Mechanical Engineers / Designers:
Mechanical Engineer
Candidate possesses minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering with 4 or more years relevant experience. Design experience using SolidWorks software is mandatory. Candidate should have experience in the design of fixtures, weldments, and machine shop procedures for hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum applications. Skills in vibration and thermal analysis are highly desirable. Also experience in high voltage and pulsed power systems, vacuum methods, machine shop operations, RF and microwave and/or optical systems are highly desirable.
Mechanical Designer
Seek candidates with 3 or more years experience in design of fixtures, weldments, and machine shop procedures for hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum applications. Design experience using SolidWorks software is mandatory.
