Mechanical Engineer (Electro-Optic Systems)

POSITION: Mechanical Engineer - Electro-Optic Systems R&D Group This position will play a key role in the development of electro-optic infrared (EO/IR) imaging systems and CCD/CMOS cameras.  It will function as a lead mechanical design engineer in the R&D design team in developing new products.   Specific activities include: design of mechanical and opto-mechanical subsystems; assist in the design of thermal imaging system; analyze customer requirements and translate into specific design concepts that meet these requirements; generate schematics and coding; oversee the fabrication of the hardware platform (circuit boards) on which the coded algorithms will execute; perform initial check out and debugging of the board design; participate in the integration of the board into the system.   Specific Technology and Product areas include: Electro-Optic Sensors, EOIR Systems, Thermal Imaging Systems, Multi-Spectral Imaging Systems, CCD/CMOS cameras, and related Electronic Sensing and Imaging Systems for military programs. Background Requirements for this position include: BSME plus strong experience in the electro-optic military systems industry. -----------------------------------------------------------------------Please forward resume (Word version preferred) to: nlasky@mri-rtp.com MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
