Materials Planner
PATS Aircraft Completions provides the highest level of personal service for business, VIP and head-of-state aircraft. From our renowned custom interior completions and auxiliary fuel systems to avionics upgrades, auxiliary power unit upgrade kits and winglet installations, no one puts as much into an aircraft as PATS. And no one surpasses our attention to detail and customer care.
PATS AIRCRAFT IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A MATERIALS PLANNER.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Closely coordinate with planner to identify long lead parts/materials and process to purchasing.
· Prioritize all planning part/material requirements to purchasing based upon aircraft schedule.
· Process non- routine requirements and prioritize purchasing.
· Liaison between production and purchasing personnel regarding parts/material priorities.
· Coordinate/assist with the identification of alternate parts/materials.
· Assure non-routine material requisitions have appropriate backup documents.
· Assist planner with identification of all material requirements.
· Assist planner with the identification of customer furnished materials, purchased, manufactured, modified, and exchanged, etc. as required.
· Utilization of aircraft schedules to expedite materials in support of production.
· Maintain appropriate computer databases as required within various shared files.
Necessary Skills:
· Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all levels of management and customer interface in a professional and timely manner.
· Strong ability to maintain positive communication across departments at all times while effectively supporting production.
· Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
· Positive and professional attitude.
Qualifications and Experience:
· High School graduate or equivalent reading, writing and math abilities.
· Two years related work experience.
· PC Literate (prefer MS Office and Windows experience)
· Strong Computer skills with company based systems.
