Master Planner and Scheduler

We provide our customers unbiased design and development support in metals, composites and RTM assemblies to meet cost and performance objectives as well as manufacturing capabilities to meet those objectives. We are currently seeking a Master Planner and Scheduler for our St. Louis Site.
Job Purpose
To plan, schedule, integrate and coordinate complex projects utilizing MS Project, CPM and Constraint Theory Planning as appropriate.
Principal Accountabilities
1) Develops and maintains integrated master schedules for senior leadership. Prepares, develops, coordinates and integrates all levels of plans and schedules.
2) Uses CPM and other scheduling tools in network development, critical path analysis, problem resolution, and risk mitigation identification and planning.
3) Identifies potential problems and develops proposed solutions with the appropriate parties in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken to ensure contract commitments are achieved.
4) Interacts with all levels and functions of the business to ensure that all required schedule input and requirements are identified and captured. Integrates with and across technical disciplines to ensure plans and schedules are accurate and comprehensible; defining accurately work content, relationships and durations.
5) Analyzes program/project performance, performs “what if” analysis, and develops and provides reports to senior leadership.
Education
The position requires a B.S. degree or equivalent in engineering or related discipline.
Experience and Qualifications
6 years professional experience or 4 years with a masters degree or CPM certification. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality are critical. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a process improvement mindset. Superior interpersonal skills are required as are the abilities to work effectively in a team environment and work with all levels in the organization effectively.
Requires proficient MS Project and MS Office skills.
