Manufacturing Engineer with Fortune 500 company

Are you looking to join a well-known Fortune 500 company?  Do you want to be part of an established corporation growing domestically as well as internationally?  Do you want to be part of a company that rewards hard-working employees with a generous compensation package and tremendous room for avancement and promotion?  No lay offs with this company as it boasts record profits.  Our client is searching for 2 Manufacturing Engineers.  The positions are located 30 minutes South of Washington DC.  JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The objectives of the  Manufacturing Engineer are to develop, install, and support manufacturing operations that will produce products to meet organizational objectives.  Responsibilities include ensuring proper quality level and cost that allows the company to be competitive in the market place.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:    Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling,  and production equipment capabilities. This activity covers all phases of machining, finishing, and assembly. Implement the developed manufacturing methods and follow-up the process. Confer with manufacturing operations, using technical expertise, to solve production, cost, and quality problems. Confer with vendors supplying purchase components, tooling, and equipment on cost, quality, and delivery matters. Develop cost reductions projects.   QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:  Machining experience Knowledge of manufacturing, finishing, and assembly methods.  Dimensional and tolerance relationships.  Computer skills and software application  Mathematical skills. Problem solving abilities.
