Position Description: Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Work with Purchasing to coordinate requirements for purchased parts and the release of raw materials from outside suppliers.

 

· Ability to create kit bill of material, production planning, and work orders.

· Create and maintain detailed manufacturing and assembly travelers, including planning the sequence of operations and specified procedures for fabrication and/or assembly of parts.

· Working knowledge of aerospace processes and assemblies

· Ability to be detail oriented

Requirements:

· Highly skilled at reading blueprints

· Aircraft VIP drafting and engineering knowledge

· Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an Associate degree in manufacturing and at least 5 years of working as a manufacturing engineer within the aerospace industry
