POSITION PURPOSE



 

The ideal candidate will have a variety of skills in accounting and manufacturing with ERP system knowledge.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.  Play a key role in Earned Value Management & be a member of the Integrated Product team.

2.  Product Line Reporting & Performance

3.  Job Cost & Performance Analysis

4.  P&L reporting for a subsidiary

5.  Labor utilization and review

6.  Vendor analysis & A/P processing

7.  Cycle count review and processing

8.  Intercompany transaction reporting

9.  Miscellaneous administration issues & reports

10.  Metrics completion

11.  Expense analysis/review & forecasting

12.  Internal controls-process flow review & audit

13.  ERP Upgrade Project Initiation

14.  Understand & prepare cost reviews for Program Management

15.  Have above average PC spreadsheet skills.

 

SPECIFIC OUTPUTS (That result from each of your major responsibilities)

   

1.  Financial Reports for APS Product Line

2.  Financial Forecasts for APS Product Line Margins.

3.  Financial Reports to support EVM

4.  Internal Audit Results Recommendations

5.  Develop reporting package for major projects.

6.  Department Expense Reporting Package.

 

 

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS 

 

Bachelors Degree in Accounting with a minimum of five years in Manufacturing Required.  Defense contact accounting and financial analysis experience preferred.





 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

 

1. Excellent MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING FIANCIAL ANALYSIS EXPERIENCE.

2. Excellent interpersonal and judgment skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality. 

3. Strong administrative, typing and clerical skills.  MUST have attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

4. Competent in Microsoft Office with a STRONG proficiency in Excel.

5.  Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a detail oriented and organized manner while working in a fast paced environment.

 6. Self starter and able to work independently.

7.  Ability to learn new duties quickly and efficiently.

8.  Ability to deal with different levels of employees including management.

9. Well organized and profeesional in work and demeanor.

10.Must be willing to do some travel.
