Manager, Integrated Logistics Support

Sensis Corporation is comprised of two divisions:Air Traffic Systems:Sensis Air Traffic Systems division is a leading provider of surveillance, information technology, and simulation and modeling for the aviation industry with customers that include air traffic service providers, civil aviation authorities, airports, airlines and system integrators. Defense & Security Systems:Sensis Defense & Security Systems division increases tactical capabilities through advanced radar detection and surveillance integration products. Customers include the worlds militaries as well as system integrators. Sensis is currently looking for a Manager, Integrated Logistics Support in our Syracuse, NY location.In this role, you will be responsible to:Plan and execute the logistics and long-term support strategy for key Sensis programs and products.Lead logistics program and proposal activities to meet or exceed all contract/proposal requirements.Work closely with program/product/engineering/customer teams to influence design and development activities to optimize supportability factors and life cycle cost.Lead, coordinate and manage the successful execution of all logistics elements including maintenance concept/planning, technical manuals, training, Logistics Management Information (LMI), supply support, life-cycle cost, and reliability, maintainability, & availability.Plan and manage all follow-on support activities for long-term support during and after the production phase to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.Coordinate and manage the development and release of logistics products with associated product improvements and upgrades for the life of the products.Coordinate and manage subcontractors as necessary to provide a seamless support system/strategy.Responsible for all resource and budget planning and execution. Education Required: Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of applicable experience.Candidate should:Have proven logistics management experience, strong logistics proposal experience, a solid understanding of all logistics elements and their interdependencies, and a working knowledge of ILS guidance documents and standards. Have a solid understanding and experience in Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) methodologies a strong plus as is knowledge of Human Factors engineering and Safety engineering.Be an innovator who is motivated to bring new ideas and approaches to solving problems. Possess proven knowledge/experience working with electronics systems. Be self-motivated, possess strong program management skills, team skills, oral and written communication skills, and be able to influence change across the organization.
