Minimum Qualifications:Candidate shall possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with at least nine (9) years of related experience in guidance, navigation, and controls. Preferable experience is in the area of launch vehicle deisgn and/or simulation.Skills Needed:Demonstrated knowledge of dynamic systems modeling and analysis. Analysis and synthesis of feedback control systems is desired. Experience with C and C++, FORTAN, MATLAB, and UNIX is required. Candidate should have experience with the management of personnel. Knowledge and use of software configuration management tools such as PVCS, CVS, RAZOR, and Synergy required. Candidate should have a strong grasp in the area of dynamic non-linear simulations and the writing of software requirements.Duties Specific to the Position:Responsible for staffing LSG Programs with adequately trained GNC Simulations resources. Develops and enforces Simulations group policies and procedures, and oversees management of Simulations and tool development. Supports technical reviews and manages GNC-related marketing tasks for all LSG Programs. Supports writing and review of new contracts and proposals regarding simulation results including BOE estimates. Other duties as assigned.EOE/M/F/D/V BS or equivalent experience and ten years of related experience is required.
