Maintenance Supervisor

With our success we are experiencing continued growth and able to offer exciting career opportunities; currently we are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our award winning team at The Monadnock Company located in the City of Industry, CA.

 

 

 

 

Responsible for directing the facility cleaning, grounds keeping, and waste water operations to improve facility appearance and maintain health standards.

 

Supervises all janitorial, wastewater, and facilities personnel.  Schedules work to be completed each day and assigns work to employees.  Monitors material, quality and production.  Ensures assignments are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinates building expansion and upgrades.

 

Determines proper cleaning solutions for use in cleaning of facility.  Orders supplies when necessary.

 

Determines type of construction method to use in building of new structures and repairs.  Ensures that building code requirements are met. Determines whether projects will be constructed in-house or by outside vendor.

 

Troubleshoots problems and determines action to be taken.

 

Disciplines employees who violate safety regulations and/or perform work improperly. Performs performance appraisal.

 

Instructs and trains employees when necessary.

 

 

 



 



Education : 

Minimum of five years industrial maintenance experience.  Knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical equipment maintenance and repairs, and plumbing.  Familiarity with techniques, code requirements, regulations and materials related to electrical process.  Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
