MIS COMPUTER SCIENTIST/ENGINEER

An MIS Computer Scientist/Engineer is needed to analyze organizational tools, processes, and procedures to identify improvement options. Includes development, modification, and maintenance of management information systems, relational database systems, and software development processes, techniques, tools, and resources. Responsibilities include evaluating, designing, implementing, and testing upgrades to existing tools and developing new tools for use in the customer’s management information and relational database systems based on established requirements. Candidate will compose and/or modify software development and application documentation as required to reflect system modifications. Will apply process improvement methods, tools, and techniques to achieve high levels of quality and productivity.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related technical field.Minimum of 8 years of general experience in systems/software engineering, database applications, or related software development, integration, test and evaluation activities.At least 6 year of specific experience is required in computer systems analysis, database design, modification, and maintenance, and/or development and application of relational databases and computer-based tools associated with management information systemsExperience is required in server level RDBMS; Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems; component based Graphical User Interface development; and C/C++/C#, Pascal, ADA, or Visual Basic programming languages. Experience is desired in, PL/SQL, Windows API and Office API programming languages; the Linux operating system; the Oracle RDBMS; and Borland’s Delphi development environment.Hands-on experience is required with common management information system software development tools and applications (Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports, Dreamweaver, etc.)US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.
