MIC / Hybrid Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer for the MIC/Hybrid assembly area: • Develop the sequence of operations necessary to manufacture hermetic & non- hermetic module & carrier & stack assemblies • Develop & maintain manufacturing process instructions & records to support the MIC/Hybrid area • Develop & maintain all MRPII functions including Routing Flow Guides, Work in Process Work Orders, & ECO) incorporation • Estimate manufacturing costs, determine standards, & make recommendations on cost reductions & schedule improvements • Interface with QC in resolving all non conformance issues, & maintain all non-conformance documentation • Assist in the determination of manufacturing processes & techniques in the analysis of technical problems related to production • Represent manufacturing in reviews of drawings & engineering changes, & implement them on the assembly floor • Provide information regarding manufacturability & special process requirements test techniques, & tooling • Develop numerical control programs • Provide manufacturing engineering support of related areas • Responsible for the maintenance of equipment • Performs experiments to support process improvement efforts Minimum Requirements: Requires a related BS degree or equivalent and 2 years experience in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or related discipline.
