Bring your talent and skills to the following IDS group: WLED: The Whole Life Engineering Directorate (WLED) is made up of several disciplines whose main objective is to influence hardware and systems early in their life cycle to assure effective operation, reliability, maintainability and economical ownership by the customer and end user. Job Description: The Integrated Logistics Engineer (ILE) performs detailed supportability analyses of various product lines and develops, enters and maintains all Logistics Management Information (LMI). The ILE must also determine and maintain the appropriate level of maintenance, the necessary assets, tools and support equipment for each supportability task. The ILE is responsible for the creation and maintenance of provisioning data necessary to support all maintenance tasks. The ILE may become involved in Spares Engineering, Display Aided Maintenance (DAM) and participate in product validations. Integrated Logistics engineers interface with both internal and external customers as well as attend and brief working groups, Program Design Reviews, and Technical Interface Meetings. . Basic Qualifications Skills: - Ability to read and understand drawings, parts lists, electrical schematics, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), technical manuals, and tool catalogs. - Knowledge of MIL-STD-1388-2B and MIL-PRF-49506. Required Education (including major): B.S. Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or other technical degree . Desired Qualifications Skills: - Must be self directed and able to execute programs with minimal direction from start to finish and provide creative and innovative solutions. - The position requires good communication skills to interface with all levels of engineering and management. - Experience with SLICWave, Powerlog, or Eagle, MS-Access, MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint.
