Description:

The Joint Communication Support Squadron (JCSS) requires logistics J-4 support for equipment and material tracking at Brunswick, GA. This position will be required to coordinate military movements and plan for deployment requirements.

The Logistician will coordinate unit requirements as pertains to equipment and material support.

Logistics Support Management, Logistics Support Documentation, Logistics Engineering, Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation, Maintenance Planning.

• Provide general administrative support to 224th JCSS and military personnel. Coordinate and process all travel arrangements for 224th JCSS military personnel. Review internal processes and make recommendations for areas of improvement.

• Compile and analyze periodic activity reports for completeness and ensure they are in the format prescribed by the 224th JCSS designated point of contact for submission to higher headquarters or other agencies.

• Maintain files, documents, correspondence and other documents as defined by the 224th JCSS designated point of contact. Process forms required in support of 224th JCSS operations in accordance with DOD or other relevant processes or regulations. Collect information from files or staff and reformat data on 224th JCSS programs and monthly status reports.

• Provide Executive Assistance and program support to the 224th JCSS designated point of contact.

• Compile factual information from relevant sources and provide to 224th JCSS designated point of contact for use in planning, monitoring and resource allocation.

• Draft or Proof read and provide input into executive correspondence.


Required Skills/Quals:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Air Force Logistics, AFSC 2G (Logistics Specialist), Preferred Retired AF Logistics 2G, willing to live in Brunswick, GA (near Savannah, GA)
