Lean Transformation Specialist/Leader

We currently have an opening at our Phoenix, AZ facility for a Lean Transformation Specialist/Leader - 1st Shift.  The successful candidate will have previous experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
This position reports in-directly to the Lead Specialist or Site HOS Leader when assigned to a HOS implementation site, and is a direct report of a HOS Group Leader.This position is supports the deployment of the Standard Implementation Framework across a cell, department or specified area and works closely with the HOS implementation leader for that cell/department/area.This position can be either a Band 3 or 4 and will be determined by qualifications and experience.This position, when assigned to a FSD site, is expected to dedicate 70+% of their time to the site. Responsibilities:
Work directly with an implementation team and support all "Go & Do" activitiesSupport, train, mentor and coach Leaders, Supervisors, team Leaders and Operators on HOS principles, processes, and tools as defined in the Standard Implementation framework.In liaison with the HOS Team & Plant Leadership team, drive continuous improvement through the SIF implementation. Drive standardization and consistency of approach.Share knowledge with other HOS Specialists and teams across Honeywell for support and continued update of latest HOS enhancements/updates utilizing benchmarking efforts to lead development of "Best-in-Class" operational practices.Deploy tools, processes, and training needed to deploy the Standard Implementation Framework.Run kaizen events and rapid problem solving exercises and other learning events.

Leadership skills, is a team player, has strong interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated record of driving results.Lean qualification and experience or training for qualification Lean expert certification preferred experience with the Toyota Production System, Lean manufacturing, or similar operating systemsRecord of driving solutions to assigned tasks utilizing a proactive approach to problem solving. Demonstrates the ability to achieve results in challenging assignments.Strong capability to coach and mentor, including front line supervisors.Strong success record of working in a matrix environment with a focus on building relationships and driving improvements.Able to travel about 20% as necessary to support HOS deployments and site readiness activities.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including presentation planning and delivery skills.Strong organizational skills with project planning program management expertise.  
 
 
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree2+ years of cross-functional ISC exp /Six Sigma experience and / or Lean experience  
 
Additional Qualifications:
Six sigma or lean certified is a plus
