Lean Manufacturing Co ordinatorDescription: Responsible for assisting in the management and implementation of lean manufacturing philosophies and techniques. The ultimate goal for the implementation of lean manufacturing is to improve the profitability of the operation by continual and ongoing identification and elimination of waste, while improving the level of service and satisfaction to the customer. Requirements: 1. Assist in the development of lean manufacturing activities2.Support and track progress on the implementation and utilization of lean manufacturing philosophies and techniques3. Assist with facilitation of events and prepare presentations4. Assist in training employees in lean manufacturing5. Assist in the implementation and launch of lean projects6. Develop spreadsheets and word documents as needed7. Assist with development of metrics and audits8. Act as point person for the companies Manufacturing Excellence iniatives using the following lean tools:a. Value Stream Mappingb. Kanbansc. TPMd. SMEDe. 6Sf. Visual Factoryg. Process capacity/Process analysish. Project Managementi. Kaizenj. CellularBachelor's degree is preferred. Four years of manufacturing experience and a minimum of two years of working in a lean manufacturing environment. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
