Senior Lead Project IT Leader - ERP Center of Excellence

 

Job Description:

 

The COE PMO IT Sr. Project Leader position is responsible for providing IT project management expertise to drive initiatives across efforts in the Aero SAP COE project portfolio. The role reports to Aero SAP COE PMO leader and will work closely with the IT FCOE's, Deployment, Core, and Technology and Shared Services teams.Job Description

* Manage cross-Aerospace SAP COE projects.

* Partner with Aero IT FCOE leaders and deployment teams to drive all SAP related project efforts.

* Ensure consistent and acceptable levels of IT support are achieved for Aerospace businesses.

* Work with key suppliers to identify and manage improvement opportunities for delivery.

* Work with AERO COE to drive the integration of business requirements into future IT technologies.

* Work with other Aero IT teams to identify and manage projects and initiatives to completion.

* Administer common, cross-Aero Project Portfolio management processes, including the support of common project management tools. 

* Manage SAP COE related projects and programs

*Partner with IT-FCOE�s and Deployment project leaders to co-manage, projects/programs. Ensure projects meet time, cost and quality objectives. 

* The candidate should also knowledgeable, experienced, and disciplined in execution of all phases of project management. Strong analytical problem solving and organizational skills are also required.

 

Responsible for:  Managing the budget, resources, design, development, implementation and leadership of SAP projects.

*Prepare and communicate "Go Live" readiness measures to site management teams for projects impacting end users

* Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budget 

* Forecasting and managing project expenditures and delivering projects within budget 

* Providing project risk management and resource management 

* Ensuring projects are within time, cost and quality objectives 

* Providing project management skills for projects both within the assigned

Qualifications:

 

*Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science preferred

* Five years experience

* Recieve instruction on day to day work

* High degree of independence

* PMP Certification preferred

* Six Sigma Certification preferred

* Full understanding of HON policy and procedures as related to Project Management Methodology
