Lead ROIC Design Engineer

A small design team for a leading defense company north of Los Angeles CA has a need for an Integrated Circuit Engineer to lead the development of cutting edge infrared visible imager ROICs.  The group designs and develops circuits used in various electronic devices.  Selected candidate will be responsible for layout and mask design, device evaluation, test box design, building of the prototype, checkout and wafer fab processes and will perform analog and digital sub-micron transistor level design in support of advanced infrared cameras and imagers. Responsible for the design and analysis of ultra-low noise analog circuit blocks, low power analog to digital conversion, high speed RF, analog, and digital signal transmission, and concept generation of high frame rate mega-pixel infrared imaging arrays.

Requires a minimum of a BS in Electrical, Computer Engineering or other technical area (MS is preferred) and at least 12 years experience with mixed signal VLSI CMOS transistor level design, simulation, and physical layout. Must have experience leading requirements and design as well as preparing and presenting design reviews.Best qualfied candidate has experience in advanced mixed signal circuit design and mentor cadence type IC design tools (layout, LVS, DRC, Schematic, digital analog simulations, HDL design & synthesis).

MUST BE US CITIZENS WITH ACTIVE DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCES.
