Lead Oracle DBA
Job Description: Lead Oracle DBA - Full-time position
Immediate start!
21st Century Technologies is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to join our development team in a full time position. Success will introduce additional responsibilities and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities will include: database environment in a multiple-site Windows and UNIX cluster environment. Responsibilities include: designing and configuring database architecture; managing the development process; performing monitoring and performance tuning; supporting Oracle tools and packages; handling 'best practice' database troubleshooting; corruption, backup and disaster recovery; providing ongoing database support in a 24x7 multiple-cluster Production environment; and managing distributed databases.
Required Skills:
• Must be a United States citizen
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
• Seeking candidate with 4+ years experience in Oracle Database Administration administering Oracle 9i and 10g databases and Application servers
Experience in the following areas is also desired: Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control, Oracle Real Application Cluster, MS SQL 2000, 2005 and MySQL development and administration; database security and auditing, database architecture, database management, monitoring multiple databases, database performance management and tuning, database fault analysis and resolution, database backup and disaster recovery procedures, database security.
