Lead Mechanical Engineer with Pneumatics - Refuel Your Career.
Global aerospace company is looking for an experienced Project or Lead Engineer who leads development/introduction to production of one or more pneumatic valve assemblies. Prepares proposals, estimates and quotations (from a technical and/or business perspective) related to the acquisition of new business and represents the company with customers. Leads teams in the design and development of multiple major systems, sub-systems, and components. Coordinates and defines development test objectives and procedures, oversees test preparation and actual testing, coordinates activities to reduce test data and documentation of test results and prepares recommendations related to the test objectives. Prepares and makes technical presentations. Responsible for management and accurate/timely reporting of program tasks, budget, and schedules. Creates/maintains re-use data bases, Forecasts work activities.Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years' experience as a project or lead engineer in aerospace working with pneumatic valve assemblies. Demonstrates an active commitment to Six Sigma, DFSS, process improvement, and IPDS. Utilize IPDS tools in setting and achievement of goals and objectives.
