Inventory Property Management Specialist

Alaska Aerospace Development Corporation is soliciting applications for an Inventory Property Management Specialist.  The position is located at the Kodiak Launch Complex in Kodiak, Alaska.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required with 2 years experience ordering, receiving and disposing of parts, equipment and materials.  Must have 2 years experience stocking, delivering and auditing parts and equipment inventories and have a good working knowledge of inventory management programs.  Excellent documentation and organizational skills are required.  Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Access.  Experience with Timberline system preferred.

  Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Budget Analyst this position receives, records, maintains, issues, and replenishes property and inventory items. Duties include maintaining a computerized inventory control and purchasing system,  maintaining AADC property control system.  Provide support to the Procurement Specialist, as needed, to ensure timely responses to direct purchase request in accordance with AADC policies and procedures.  Responsibilities include deliveries, transferring inventory items, documenting excess equipment, and preparing property reports.  It is essential that this position perform duties timely and accurately, and is essential in the managment and safeguarding of  materials, supplies and services to all KLC facilities.

DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
