Integration Specialist

This position is located in Ft Campbell

 

SUMMARY

Provide operational support for flight simulator and related training systems.

Perform hardware and software integration and support on applicable training systems.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties maybe assignedTraining System Subject Matter ExpertPart of a technical team that has the responsibility for the overall performance and reliability of applicable training systems.Concurrent awareness of all major activities and initiatives regarding the engineering and maintenance aspects of applicable training systems.Define and manage site integration priorities.Develop and maintain backup and configuration modification procedures for applicable training systemsIntegrate software modifications with the existing software and hardware, and assist Configuration Management in configuration control of applicable training systemsProvide technical support during training system modifications by third partiesDocument training system changes and modifications, update existing documentation, and develop process documentationOccasional shift work and weekend work will be required

 

SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following.

Compliance with company Information Systems security policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper classification and marking of all information and materials, and any form, produced by the incumbent. Shall be assigned specific responsibility for Information Security by immediate supervisor or department management. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. Incumbent shall execute company non-disclosure agreement prior to access to any controlled information.

 

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. ·  Experience in the flight simulation industry

·  Experience in development, testing and integration of hardware and software systems

·  Experience in computer and electronic systems, and computer networks, including problem analysis and repair

·  Knowledge of Perl, Java and FORTRAN

·  Knowledge of Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) and High Level Architecture (HLA)

·  Knowledge of rotary wing aircraft systems

·  MCSA or MCSE on a Server 2003 environment

 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

 

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline

·  Proficiency with Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory

·  In depth knowledge of C# and C++ .NET

·  Self-motivated, dynamic, team player.

Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLSMust have basic communication skills, to include verbal and written.

Reasonable noise levels.Will be working in areas with risk of electrical shock from moving mechanical parts driven by hydraulics under pressure.Will at times be exposed to the following conditions: extreme heat, airborne particles, loud noises.
