Inspector

Performs inspections, checks, and tests for quality control for the manufacture of products. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-5 years of related experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Receiving Inspector: * Responsible for visual and dimensional inspection and determination of acceptability of incoming product after being worked/reworked by an external supplier. Also, determining the acceptability of product purchased through the Inventory Locater Service or ILS and customer supplied hardware. * Identifies non-conforming product and generates documentation for such. * Assist in inspection of parts from the internal R&O process. .
